I'm fairly self-sufficient and am pretty competent when it comes to fixing things. However, I was having a persistent electrical problem with my 2004 Dodge Ram diesel truck and was running out of options. I had already replaced the alternator, both batteries, two relays, and the ECM (Electronic Computer Module). The problem wasn't solved. Additionally, I had lost faith in Larry Miller Dodge to repair my truck and do it cost-effectively. After all, they wanted over $3K for parts/labor to replace the ECM while I did it myself for under $800. Might I remind you that the ECM didn't fix my problem. I finally searched around for shops with expertise in electrical issues and came across Champs. I spoke with Todd and he was happy to take a look at it. Although his schedule was busy the first day, he squeezed me in Tuesday and was able to identify that the "new" alternator from O'Reilly's was faulty. He contacted me and asked if I had the receipt, which was at home. I could bring it to him later. A few minutes later, he called back and said he had spoken with O'Reilly's to verify my customer info, verify my warranty, and get a replacement sent to his shop asap. He got everything repaired and my truck was healthy again by the end of the day. Todd went above and beyond what I asked and expected. It's sadly a rare thing to get such great customer service, but I did at Champs. Thanks Todd!
